Pros and Cons:

Pros:

  • Easy to adjust. Can be worn around the waist or wrist.
  • Durable. Has been dragged through rocks and mud and holds up great.
  • Redistributes pulling well. The bungee allows dog to tug a little without pulling you.

Cons:

  • Expensive. $40 for a leash
  • If your dog pulls too far, it has a tendency to snap back because of the bungee.
  • Difficult to quickly reign your dog in if you aren’t holding the handle closest to the leash.

I’ve had this leash for almost 8 months now, and it’s one of the best leashes I’ve had. It’s super easy to switch from a handheld leash to around the waist. The later option gives you a great option for running and hiking hands free while making sure your pup is secure.

So why spend so much on a leash? It may be costly, but in addition to being convertible, the bungee gives your dog the ability to roam a little without slowing you down. The bungee also makes it a little more difficult to pull your dog along or out of the way if needed. There is a handle close to the collar, so if you need to hold your dog close, it’s a good stable way to do so.

My last pro for this leash is the clip to attach it to the collar. It’s sturdy and very secure. Sometimes if you’re clipping it quickly, it isn’t the easiest. The opening isn’t the largest, but it’s probably a personal problem more than anything else.

Overall, I would recommend this leash. It’s on the pricier side, but with all of the features it offers, I’d say it’s worth the money.
